Basic parameters of an inclined duct-type magnetohydrodynamic separator

Abstract
A simple model is developed for the calculation of the parameters of a duct-type inclined MHD separator. It is shown that a suitable choice of the angle of inclination leads to an increase in separator output and to a reduction in electrical energy input. The results of numerical calculations are preseted as a practical example. Figs. 3, Refs 3.
