The Chapman-Jouguet theorem in magnetohydrodynamics

Abstract
It is shown that if a magnetohydrodynamic detonation occurs in a tube closed at one end by a perfectly conducting wall, then the velocity of the reaction products relative to the wave front is equal to the phase velocity of the magnetoacoustic wave. Refs 36.
