Channel profiles for producing vortex flows in weakly ionized gases in transverse magnetic fields

Abstract
The paper deals with the vortex flow of an electrically conducting gas retarded by a transverse magnetic field. Differential equations we derived for the processes in the channel. Closed-form solutions of these equations aare given for the case of constant temperature, constant tangential velocity. and constant Mach number. Figs. 5, Refs 3.
