Passage of alternating current through a plasma vortex

Abstract
The phenomena associated with the passage of stationary alternating current through a plasma vortex are studied. A number of theoretical propositions connected with the derivation of quantitative relationships are checked experimentally. The plasma vortex was formed by a pinch source with helical grooves in the inlet part of the nozzle. and also under the influence of the magnetic field of the pinch source solenoid. Figs 5, Refs 1.
