Operation of an electrohydrodynamic generator in a thermodynamic cycle

Abstract
The article gives various schemes of electrohydrodynamic power units, determinations of the type of working body, and a comparison of their characteristics. The article gives a calculation of the total power of a unit; the calculation showed that it does not depend on the internal efficiency of the generator, but is determined only by the electrical parameters of the working body. Changes were made in the means for increasing the efficiency of electrohydrodynamic conversion. Curves are given for the dependence of the total efficiency of the unit on the level of the pressure in the cycle for different working bodies, making it possible to select the necessary parameters corresponding to actual problems.
