Peristaltic flow of a conductive liquid in a transverse magnetic field

Abstract
This article considers the MHD flow of a conductive Newtonian liquid in a slit channel with rhythmically contracting walls. The problem is solved by the asymptotic narrow-band method. Velocity profiles in certain channel crosssections are given for definite parameter values.
