Abstract
It is shown that as a result of the interaction of the variable welding current with a constant magnetic field, vibrational motions of the melt at the solid-liquid phase boundary result in an improvement of the crystalline structure of the samples and an increase of the fusion coefficient. The effect is observed even for the values of the field induction up to 0.06 T.
