Dependence of the weighting function of a flat channel on the length of the electrodes

Abstract
The weighting function W is calculated for a flat conduction-type magnetohydrodynamic channel with electrodes of finite length. The function characterizes the specific contribution of a given element of the channel to the creation of the mean potential difference at the charged electrodes. The dependences of families of W-isolines on the relative length of the electrodes are calculated and exhibited graphically.
