Comparative characteristics of the conduction and hot wire anemometers

I. L. Povkh - N. I. Bolonov - A. A. Zori - I. G. Dunaevskii

Abstract
The conduction method of measurement, which uses a primary converter with a local magnetic field, is used in investigations of turbulent fluctuations of liquid flow. An investigation has been made of the comparative characteristics of the conduction and hot wire anemometers. Measurements were made of the intensity of fluctuations in the velocity range 1 to 5 m/sec. with variation in the fluctuation intensity from 0.3 to 20
