Effects of the eddy-current electric field component on the flow-rate signal from a conduction-type flowmeter

Abstract
There is a simple relationship between the flow-rate signal in a conduction-type flowmeter and the electric-field components at the electrode position, which are not dependent on the flow rate. The relationship has been checked by experiment and allows one to desig1l a flowmeter that does not require calibration afresh for each case.
