Aggregation and magnetization change in a magnetic liquid

V. V. Chekanov - V. I. Drozdova - P. V. Nutsubidze - T. V. Skrobotova - A. V. Cheremushkina

Abstract
Some theoretical [1, 2] and expetilental (3] studies have shown that aggregation of the dispersed phase alters the magnetic susceptibility of a magnetic liquid (ML) in a weak field, and the value differs from the Langevin one [3]. It is desirable to examine the dependence of the ML magnetization on the structure for fairly strong magnetic fields, when the change in local particle concentration because of aggregation, may be fairly substantial.
