The instability of liquid metal jet under the effect of axial alternating current

Abstract
The problem of instability of the free boundaries of thin conducting liquid jet under the effect of high frequency axial alternating current has been solved analytically. The criteria of instability have been determined and the resonance conditions analyzed. Figs 3, refs 11.
