Some aspects of the numerical simulation of the magnetic fluid pattern formation by boundary integral equation technique

Abstract
Boundary integral equation techniques are widely used for the free surface flow problems including magnetic fluid pattern formation in Hele-Shaw cell. In this paper the effectiveness of preconditioned GMRES algorithm as an iterative solver for set of linear equation resulted from discretisation of boundary intergal equation is discussed and application of Hou, Lowengrub and Shelley algorithm for the viscous displacement of the magnetic fluid has been presented.
