Abstract
The turbulent flow of a conducting fluid in finite length cylindrical vessel caused by the action of the rotating magnetic field with arbitrary symmetry in the case when the induction effects are insignificant has been studied. Theoretical study was based on the "external friction" model. The results of numerical solution are compared with the experiments. Figs 2, Refs 4.
