Abstract
The problem of a two-dimensional laminar jet of a slightly conducting fluid containing nonconducting particles in the concurrent flow was solved using a numerical method assuming that the conductivity in the mixed layer is the power function of temperature. The influence of a magnetic field and certain parameters of the problem on the distribution of velocity and temperature fields in the liquid and dispersed phases in the mixing layer is investigated.
