Abstract
Mass transfer has been found in electrolytes in the vicinity of a chain of iron balls exposed to an external steady magnetic field. In general, it was proposed to control the direction of mass transfer by choosing the surface coating of iron balls and their arrangement. In particular, the unidirectional mass-transfer phenomenon was excited in the electrolyte in the vicinity a chain of iron balls in a steady magnetic field. Figs 1, Refs 10.
