Abstract
In the present work, we studied the growth and separation of kerosene-based magnetic fluid drops from a horizontal non-magnetic surface exposed to a steady and an alternating magnetic fields. It is shown that due to the dependence of the wetting perimeter l on the magnetic field, the volume of a coming off MF drop changes. Figs 10, Refs 6.
