MHD micropolar fluid flow adjacent to a stretching vertical sheet with prescribed wall heat flux

Abstract
The mixed convection flow adjacent to a stretching vertical sheet immersed in an incompressible micropolar fluid in the presence of a transverse magnetic field is investigated in this paper. The effects of the magnetic, material and boundary parameters on the flow and heat transfer characteristics are analyzed and discussed. It is found that the heat transfer rate at the surface decreases in the presence of a magnetic field. Tables 1, Figs 8, Refs 23.
