Abstract
Factors are determined which reduce the operation efficiency of casting magnetodynamic installations for aluminium alloys. It is shown that the basic way to enhance technical parameters of magnetodynamic installations is the reduction of dispersion and the increase of magnetic field concentration in the T-shaped working area of magnetodynamic installations and also the decrease of the negative influence of vortex structures at the working area boundaries. A 3D measuring method of magnetic fields distribution has been developed. Ways for the optimization of systems generating electromagnetic fields and their superposition in the working area of magnetodynamic installations are defined. Figs 11, Refs 12.
